چکیده
" The clinical value of graphic methods in the study of heart disease" is a laudable effort to simplify and bring home to the general practitioner their utility for prognosis and treatment and the feasibility of their general employment. The report of the visits to the clinic of Prof. Thomas Macrae is an excellent appreciation of the educational work of an eminent American physician and teacher who established his reputation at the Johns Hopkins Medical School. Emetine is being exploited outside the range of dysentery and an excellent account of its therapy will be found in the article by Burdiek. Brill gives us a critical statement of the scope and limitations of psycho-analysis. Perhaps the most valuable surgical contribution is the lengthy illustrated account of the orthopaedic work of Albee at the New York Polyclinic.
